The Jim Newsom Quartet presents an engaging blend of classic and contemporary jazz and standards. Leader Jim Newsom has built a reputation as a multi-talented musician and entertainer. Trumpeter Ron Hallman has many years of experience in jazz, rock and R&B groups, and has led jazz groups himself for over thirty years.

The rhythm section of bassist David Hufstedler and drummer Rick Jebavy brings together two superb musicians with many years of experience. Jeffrey's years with the Navy bands and as a professional musician blend with Hufstedler's technical prowess and musical ESP to take the quartet to new heights.
